At 6 AM, our team member will meet you and will travel to Rishikesh with you. In Rishikesh, you will visit the famous Lakshman Jhoola which is an iron bridge. It is 450 ft long and 70 ft high from the river. It is believed that Lakshman, younger brother of Lord Ram, built a bridge at the same site with rope to cross Ganga River. Ram Jhula is another bridge made of iron and was constructed in 1986. These bridges give an amazing view of Rishikesh. Next stop is Sivananda Ashram, Parmarth Niketan which is very near to Ram Jhula. Next stop will be the Beatles Ashram where the famous English music band visited in 1968. The band members learned meditation at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram. Then you can rest on the steps of Rishikund before going to visit the Triveni Ghats on the banks of Ganges and see the heavenly aarti. Triveni Ghat is made up of three rivers- Ganga, Yamuna, and Sarasvati. It is a famous religious bathing spot in Rishikesh.

Day 2: Rishikesh through Haridwar to Delhi (breakfast included)

After having an early morning yoga session of 45 minutes and breakfast, you will head towards Haridwar whose literal meaning is Gateway to God. It is one of the holiest places of Hindus, a sacred source of Ganges and Yamuna and is also a gateway to the Char Dham yatra in Uttrakhand. You will first visit Har ki Paudi on the banks of river Ganga where taking a holy dip means getting rid of all the sins. It is believed that footprints of Lord Vishnu are still present on a stone wall. The Ghat is assumed to have been built in the 1st century by Vikramaditya king who dedicated this spot to his brother Bhatrihari who mediated on the banks of the river. Various sacred temples can also be visited around Har ki Paudi. Ma Anandamayi Ashram, made of white marbles, dedicated to Sri Ma Anandmayi can also be visited.
