Our Delhi to Agra by train tour is an amazing day trip to the city of love, Agra. It would just take 2 hours to reach Agra from New Delhi. Upon arriving at Agra, we have planned the trip beautifully, wherein we have arranged your visit to the symbol of love, The Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj. We would pick you up from any of your desired location and would take you to the railway station. From there, we have already arranged your Express Train (Shatabdi Express or Gatiman Express) journey towards Agra, which would be comfortable, convenient and enjoyable for you. In Agra, you would be greeted and escorted by our representative and would be taken to visit the famous monuments of Agra such as Mehtab Bagh, Agra Fort, and The Taj Mahal.
• Taj Mahal: The Taj Mahal has been listed in one of the “Seven Wonders of the World” in the year 2007. According to legend, Emperor Shah Jahan was so grief-stricken and upset at the death of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal that he decided to build a memorial to her who would be unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur. It was built with the help of a huge labor force of approximately 20,000 people; it took almost 22 long years to complete this masterpiece mausoleum.
• Agra Fort: Visit Agra Fort, a vast museum of interesting buildings, constructed under the order of Akbar. Each successive Mughal Emperor right up to Aurangzeb contributed something to the Fort. Since Ages, it has been home to the Mughals. It is being said that the construction of the Agra Fort started in 1565 and was completed in the year 1573.
• Mehtab Bagh: It is one of the vast gardens that the Mughal Dynasty had. Mughals were said to be very nature-loving emperors that had a habit of maintaining the gardens. Mehtab Bagh is the ultimate Taj Mahal viewing spot that holds an important place in the history of Agra’s Mughal era.
In the evening return back to Delhi by train.
